New Officals

New Officials are required to be 12 years old by December 31st of the current season.  The new official's in-person clinic is limited to 25 officials.  A waitlist will be created once 25 officials have registered for the clinic.  Registration is accepted through the current season for next year's clinic.

On-Line Course Information

New officials need to complete the Hockey Canada Officiating Program - Introduction to Officiating (on-line course).  It is estimated that the 'Hockey Canada Officiating Program - Intro' online course will take approximately three hours to complete. The registration fee associated with this online course registration is in addition to the applicable registration fee for the subsequent in-person HCOP certification clinic.

IMPORTANT:  CHILLIWACK MHA HAS LIMITED SPACE FOR NEW OFFICIALS DUE TO THE NUMBER OF GAMES AVAILABLE DURING THE SEASON. CHILLIWACK MHA DOES NOT GUARANTEE GAME ASSIGNMENTS UPON THE COMPLETION OF THIS COURSE.  ALSO NOTE THAT SHOULD YOU COMPLETE THIS COURSE AND SPACE NOT BE IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE FOR CERTIFICATION, THE COMPLETED ONLINE COURSE DOES NOT EXPIRE AND WILL PREQUALIFY THE PARTICIPANT FOR ANY FUTURE CERTIFICATION OPPORTUNITIES IN A FUTURE SEASON.
